A native tall grass with an architectural rigidity that looks great year-round. Mix Little Bluestem in with shrubs as a foundation planting and add it to a flower bed for more structure.
The color palette ranges from rich brown to light blonde to blues and greens throughout the year.
The one gallon size is the wild-type species and is best in mass planting and natural/informal areas.
The three gallon size is the "Standing Ovation" selection which is bred to stay more upright in formal landscapes.
Both types have the same wildlife and habitat benefits.
